Lawrence Yu is an associate with Bereskin & Parr LLP. His practice focuses on patent drafting, protection, and opinion work, with a particular focus on electrical and computer technologies.
Lawrence completed his Juris Doctor at Osgoode Hall Law School and his Bachelor of Applied Science in Nanotechnology Engineering at the University of Waterloo. Prior to attending law school, Lawrence worked as a technical consultant in the intellectual property practice group of a full-service law firm; as an engineering assistant at several semiconductor, telecommunication, and aerospace companies; and as a biomaterials research assistant at a major U.S. university.
