Bereskin & Parr Welcomes New Partner Denis Keseris

Denis Keseris is a partner at Bereskin & Parr LLP, and member of the Electrical & Computer Technology practice group. His practice covers all aspects of patents, particularly in the fields of artificial intelligence, fintech, gaming technology, telecommunications, medical devices and cannabis.

Denis has over 15 years of IP experience in Europe and North America. Prior to relocating to Canada in 2017, Denis was a partner at one of the U.K.’s leading intellectual property firms, with a practice focusing on wireless telecom standards, semiconductor electronics, and medical devices as well as the drafting and prosecution of ICT, electronics, and software-related applications. Denis also practiced at two other prominent IP law firms in the U.K. and France, as well as in-house counsel at a well known technology company.

Before entering private practice, Denis worked in the examination branches of both the Canadian Intellectual Property Office and the U.K. Intellectual Property Office.

Denis is a fellow of the U.K. Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys and is qualified as a European Patent Attorney and European Design Attorney. He received a Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from the University of London’s Queen Mary School of Law. Denis completed his B.A.Sc. in Electrical, Electronics & Communications Engineering at the University of Ottawa.
