November 14, 2025The lawyers at Thomson Rogers LLP are pleased to announce that Melanie White has joined the firm as an Associate in their Personal Injury department.
Melanie White is a Personal Injury lawyer at Thomson Rogers LLP, having completed her JD at Osgoode Hall Law School. During law school, she honed her advocacy skills through competitive mooting and volunteer work with the Ontario Justice Education Network and Law in Action Within Schools. Prior to studying law, Melanie spent over a decade at a large insurance company, where she managed accident benefits and tort claims, including those involving catastrophic injuries and complex matters.
Melanie has a Bachelor of Social Work from Memorial University, where she was on the Dean’s List, and worked with elderly populations and families. There, she developed a compassionate and trauma-informed approach to working with clients and will bring this to her legal practice.
Prior to joining as an Associate, Melanie summered and articled at Thomson Rogers.
Outside work, Melanie enjoys music, classic horror movies, and spending time with her husband, daughter, big dog, and small cat.
We are excited to welcome Melanie to Thomson Rogers, and we look forward to a successful future together.
