Bereskin & Parr Welcomes Associate (Technical Consultant) Joanna Pohl

Bereskin & Parr is pleased to welcome Joanna Pohl to our Montréal Office as an Associate (Technical Consultant) and member of our Life Sciences practice group.
Her practice focuses on patents relating to the life sciences, including biotechnology, chemical and pharmaceutical inventions. Prior to joining Bereskin & Parr, Joanna previously worked as a scientific project manager in a Montréal based clinical research organization where she managed bioequivalence trials for international sponsor companies.
Joanna holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Neurosciences from Concordia University, a Master of Arts in Psychology from Queens University and a Ph.D. in Neurosciences from McGill University. While completing her Ph.D., Joanna also worked as a coordinator at the Douglas-Bell Canada Brain Bank and was a committee member of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada Young Practitioner’s Group. She has also extensively published and presented her research studies locally and internationally.
