Bereskin & Parr Welcomes Ahmed Elmallah as Associate in Toronto

Bereskin & Parr LLP is pleased to welcome Ahmed Elmallah to our Toronto Office as an associate and member of our firm’s Engineering & Technology Patent  Group.​ His practice focuses on all aspects of patent prosecution and opinion work.  Ahmed  assists clients in securing patent protection for their inventions in Canada, the United States and internationally. He has experience in electrical and mechanical patent prosecution, copyright and industrial designs.

Prior to joining Bereskin & Parr LLP, Ahmed was an Associate at an IP firm in Toronto, where he undertook both Canadian patent and trademark prosecution, and provided patent and trademark litigation support.

Ahmed’s academic career has been marked by excellence.  He graduated from Law at Queen’s University on the Dean’s Honours List. During Law school he participated in the Harold G. Fox Intellectual Property Moot and was a member of the Queen’s Intellectual Property Law Club.  Ahmed received the Bereskin & Parr LLP Award in Patent Law (2014), the Queen’s University WeirFoulds LLP Prize in Remedies (2014), as well as the Queen’s Law Prize in Copyright Law (2015).

Ahmed holds a J.D. from Queen’s University and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alberta. He was called to The Ontario Bar in 2016.
