Bereskin & Parr Welcomes New Associate Sandra Marone

Bereskin & Parr is pleased to welcome Sandra Marone to our Mississauga Office as an associate and member of our Life Sciences practice group.
Sandra is a registered Canadian Patent Agent since 2015. Her expertise focuses on chemistry and the pharmaceutical sciences.
Prior to joining Bereskin & Parr LLP, Sandra worked in-house with various global intellectual property departments in the generic pharmaceutical industry where she was responsible for identifying prior art, and performing patent validity and clearance assessments. She also assisted in the management of the patent landscape for a large portfolio of products in Canada, the United States and Europe.
While completing her Ph.D at Queen’s University, Sandra conducted research in the areas of Medicinal Chemistry. She also has co-authored several articles that have appeared in scientific journals including the Glycoconjugate Journal, the Canadian Journal of Neurological Sciences, the American Journal of Pathology, and the Journal of Molecular Neuroscience.
