We are currently recruiting for an Associate Lawyer to join our Labour Department. The successful candidate should have three to five years experience advising unions and/or employees on a broad range of employment and/or labour relations matters. The ideal candidate will:
- Possess excellent drafting and organizational skills;
- Have experience with union certification, collective bargaining, grievance arbitration, employment standards, human rights and occupational health and safety;
- Advocacy experience representing clients before labour tribunals and arbitrators;
- Work well in a highly collaborative and professional team setting; and
- Have a demonstrated ability to develop and manage client relationships.
