Family Law Lawyer

Stoner & Company Family Law is a busy law firm with offices in Burlington and Oakville. We are seeking a lawyer with one to five years of experience in family law to work in our Burlington office.

The Position:

You will be responsible for all types of family law, including divorce, separation, custody, access, child and spousal support, adoptions, property issues and cohabitation/marriage contracts, as well as representing clients in mediation, arbitration, or litigation. In addition, you will be responsible for:

• Meeting with clients
• Drafting documents
• Negotiating agreements
• Conducting legal research
• Attending court, mediation and arbitration hearings

You will be expected to manage a heavy workload independently, collaborate with others, and provide professional, responsive service to our clients. This position is primarily in person.
