Ankita Kapur Joins Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP Toronto Office
September 26, 2016Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP is pleased to welcome Ankita Kapur to the Intellectual Property Group.
Ankita completed her J.D./M.B.A. at Osgoode Hall Law School and the Schulich School of Business, where she won the Fogler, Rubinoff LLP – Robert R. Jason Prize for standing first in her final year of the program. At Osgoode, she received the Dean’s Letter Recognizing Cumulative Overall Excellence for ranking in the top six per cent of her class. At Schulich, she graduated with distinction as a member of the Dean’s Honour List and received the Schulich Scholarship for Entrepreneurship. Prior to this, she obtained her B.B.A. with honours from Schulich.
Previously, Ankita founded a creative services business and gained marketing experience at a financial institution, a beauty retailer and a restaurant franchise. At Osgoode, her activities included volunteering as a Dean’s tutor and a case-worker for the Osgoode Business Clinic. Ankita also worked as an admission assessor and helped to select Schulich’s incoming undergraduate class.
