Leanne Young is an associate with Bereskin & Parr LLP. Her practice focuses on patent mining, preparing and prosecuting patent applications, and managing patent portfolios, with an emphasis on medical device and software innovations.
Leanne graduated from the Juris Doctor program at the University of Toronto with Distinction and holds a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine.
Leanne has work and design experience in the biomedical engineering and neuroscience fields. She has worked in several academic laboratories.
Prior to being an associate, Leanne was a summer student and an articling student with the firm.
