Bereskin & Parr Welcomes New Associate Benjamin Lai

Bereskin & Parr is pleased to welcome Benjamin Lai to our Toronto Office as an associate and member of our Electrical & Computer Technology practice group.
His practice includes all aspects of the patent prosecution process. Ben has experience working on a wide range of technology applications including image processing, medical devices, and data encryption hardware and software.
Ben completed his Bachelor of Applied Science (with Honours) in electrical engineering at the University of Toronto, which included a 14-month Professional Experience in California. He also obtained a Master’s Degree in the Department of Medical Biophysics at the University of Toronto.
Before attending law school at Osgoode Hall Law School, he was a research technician at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre working on the development of various cancer-related diagnostic and therapeutic tools.
