Goldblatt Partners welcomes Michael Slattery
October 16, 2018Goldblatt Partners is pleased to announce that Michael Slattery has joined the firm as an associate in our Toronto office.
Michael represents represents Indigenous peoples in their land claims against the government to affirm traditional territories and treaty rights. This can include advocating for harvesting rights, reserve entitlements, and fiduciary obligations. Michael also assesses natural resource development projects for their environmental impacts and whether the duty to consult Indigenous peoples has been met.
Prior to joining Goldblatt Partners, Michael worked for a law firm with an Aboriginal rights practice. He holds degrees in English literature and Development Economics.
