HHR is pleased to welcome Annie Li

Annie is a civil litigation associate at Henein Hutchison Robitaille LLP.

Prior to joining Henein Hutchison Robitaille LLP, Annie summered and completed her Integrated Practice Curriculum (IPC) term at a leading Toronto class actions, family law, and civil litigation firm, where she worked on the landmark Band Reparations Class Action whose settlement continues to affect hundreds of First Nations bands.

Annie is a proud member of the inaugural cohort of the Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University, where she received her J.D. with distinction. At Lincoln Alexander, Annie was the first recipient of the International Association of Privacy Professionals’ (IAPP) Westin Scholar Award, awarded annually to the student with the top paper in the Privacy Law course. In law school, Annie contributed to equity-seeking and performing arts student organizations as a founding member and volunteered with the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers (FACL Ontario) through Pro Bono Students Canada.

Before law school, Annie was a key member of a professional development and practice management group at Scotia Wealth Management. During her undergraduate studies, she pursued an Honours Specialization in English Language and Literature at Western University, where she was also a student in the interdisciplinary School for Advanced Studies in the Arts & Humanities (SASAH).
