John Sparks joins Smart & Biggar
January 26, 2017Smart & Biggar is pleased to announce that John Sparks has joined the firm’s Vancouver office as an associate.
John Sparks’ practice focusses on a broad range of IP matters, particularly the prosecution of electrical and computer based patents and intellectual property litigation. He holds a B.Sc from Queens University and a J.D from the University of Victoria. He was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2016. During his undergraduate studies, John was a four time Chancellor’s Scholar for academic and extracurricular accomplishment. Before deciding to pursue a legal education, he worked for BlackBerry as a Hardware Design Validation Project Coordinator.
