Lauren Leahy Joins Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP Toronto Office

Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP is pleased to welcome Lauren Leahy to the securities Group.

Lauren received her J.D. from the Schulich School of Law, Dalhousie University. She was on the Dean’s List throughout her studies and was the recipient of two Schulich Scholarships, the Judge Fran Potts Award and the Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP Prize in Business Associations. Lauren holds an H.B.A. with distinction specializing in bioethics from the University of Toronto.

At Schulich law, Lauren was actively involved as a Tenants’ Rights Hotline volunteer and a member of the Student Finance Faculty Committee. In her third year, she completed an exchange in Beijing, China. She was also a member of the Canadian Corporate/Securities Law Moot team that won the third place team prize. Prior to law school, Lauren worked as a research officer with a global health ethics research group where she coordinated a program to promote demand for vaccination in developing countries.
