Lerners LLP partner Lisa Munro recognized by WXN Top 100

Lerners LLP is thrilled to announce that our colleague and partner, Lisa Munro, has been recognized as one of Canada’s Most Powerful Women with a Top 100 Award from the Women’s Executive Network. The WXN Top 100 awards celebrate the accomplishments of women leaders across Canada who are proven achievers in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors in nine different categories.

Lisa won in the “KPMG Professionals” category, which honours women professionals who play a leadership role within their organizations. Lisa was recognized for her management abilities, her vision and leadership, her contributions to the firm’s corporate performance and her contributions to community service.

Lisa is a leader of our firm, shaping the culture and success for everyone. Through her various leadership roles – from being the former head of our Commercial Litigation Practice Group, to serving on our Executive Committee, to chairing our Diversity and Inclusion Committee – she has been instrumental in ensuring that Lerners remains a profitable, professionally fulfilling and inclusive workplace.  She is a strong advocate for women at the firm, where she has spearheaded several initiatives to coach, develop and retain talented women. She is a mentor to many and a champion of community involvement as the partner responsible for pro bono initiatives. She also maintains an active litigation practice, as a partner in our Commercial Litigation Practice Group.

We are delighted to see that Lisa’s outstanding contributions to our firm, clients and community, are receiving such well-deserved and well-respected recognition.
