Mathews Dinsdale is pleased to announce that Amanda J. Hunter has joined the Firm as a Partner in our Toronto office. Practising in all areas of labour and employment law, she advises employers in both the provincial and federal sectors across a wide range of industries and sectors, including manufacturing, financial services, technology, municipalities, healthcare, and education.

Her work includes employment standards compliance, human rights matters, labour relations, workplace policy development, and employee management issues. A recognized expert in minimum standards legislation, Amanda is known for finding practical and creative solutions to complex workplace challenges.

Amanda regularly represents employers at all levels of Court in Ontario and appears before the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, and labour arbitrators.

She is also committed to mentorship and to advancing inclusion and equity within the legal profession, consistently seeking innovative approaches to delivering effective and responsive legal services.
