Mathews Dinsdale Welcomes Allyson Fischer to the Firm

Mathews Dinsdale is pleased to announce that Allyson Fischer has joined the Firm as a Partner in our Toronto office. Allyson is a commercial employment litigator with over 20 years of experience and a senior member of the firm’s litigation group. She is an expert on all types of injunctions ranging from restrictive covenants, breach of fiduciary duties, breach of confidence, Mareva injunctions to freeze assets and labour injunctions to restrict picketing. Allyson regularly represents employers in wrongful dismissal actions involving executive level employees and commercial disputes including partnership and shareholder agreements. She also understands the importance of electronic evidence and works closely with a team of technology experts to put employers in the best position to successfully litigate these cases. Allyson has negotiated numerous protocols to ensure departed employees comply with their obligations, including protocols for the return and deletion of confidential documents and information. She is regularly consulted by other lawyers on these issues and has been retained as an expert witness by lawyers in other jurisdictions.
