Nicole Vidinu joins Smart & Biggar
November 4, 2015Nicole Vidinu’s practice focusses on trademark law, including the preparation, filing and prosecution of trademark applications and performing registrability and availability searches for clients located in Canada and internationally. Her clients encompass a broad range of industries such as consumer goods manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and food and beverage producers. In addition to supporting clients in trademark portfolio management, Nicole assists in the preparation of documents to support litigation in all areas of intellectual property law.
During Nicole’s undergraduate studies, she worked as a laboratory research assistant in the areas of molecular biology and virology. During her legal studies, she was selected to participate in a unique legal clinic dedicated to providing business and intellectual property services to start up and early-stage businesses.
Nicole’s educational background and technical expertise in the areas of molecular biology, virology and genetics is a particular asset to clients operating within these areas. Having worked with numerous innovators, she has unique experience in advising and assisting entrepreneurial clients on a multitude of intellectual property law issues that arise in the early stages of any business venture.
