Smart & Biggar welcomes Matthew R. Leaper as Associate in Vancouver
December 18, 2017Smart & Biggar is pleased to announce that Matthew R. Leaper has joined the firm as a patent agent in our Vancouver office.
Matthew’s practice focusses on all aspects of intellectual property counselling and strategy including patent prosecution, due diligence, and licensing, primarily within the computer, electrical, and mechanical arts.
Matthew holds a B.S. (ArchitecturalEngineering) from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, a M.A. (Architectural Engineering) from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a J.D. from Drexel University, Thomas R. Kline School of Law. He is a United States Registered Patent Agent and was called to the New Jersey State bar in 2016. Before joining Smart & Biggar Matthew practiced in the United States at a well-known patent law firm.
