SML Welcomes New Counsel, Emily Graham
July 11, 2024Emily Graham (she/her) is counsel at Steinecke Maciura LeBlanc, practicing in all areas of professional regulation.
Before joining SML, Emily was Legal Counsel to the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, where she prosecuted complex cases alleging professional misconduct, incompetence, and incapacity. She also represented the regulator before the courts in judicial review applications, statutory injunctions, and appeals, and provided advice to various College Committees and departments.
Emily earned her master’s and law degrees at the University of Toronto, following which she clerked for judges in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Divisional Court. She began her career at a leading civil litigation boutique firm, with a focus on professional regulation and commercial litigation.
