Susan Han Joins WeirFoulds
May 11, 2017WeirFoulds is pleased to announce that Susan Han has joined the firm as a partner focusing on transaction-oriented securities work, including advising on the forming of investment vehicles (investment funds and non-investment funds) for mid-market sponsors. The addition of Susan to WeirFoulds adds to our already deep-rooted experience in securities and corporate law, and further expands our service capabilities to our clients.
Susan advises portfolio managers, investment advisers, exempt market dealers and other financial services providers on their regulatory obligations, including securities compliance and registration matters.
Her experience working as in-house counsel means Susan has a unique commercial awareness and understanding of what her clients expect. Whether it’s cost efficiency or sense of urgency, Susan has always partnered with her clients to deliver what they need.
Susan is also actively engaged in the legal profession. She speaks at programs and seminars on topics ranging from funds and pension governance to anti-money laundering.
Susan has an interest in Canada-Korea trade and chairs the Canada Korea Business Council.

Susan was called to the Ontario Bar in 1988, having completed her independent studies and LL.B at the University of Toronto.
