Tamara O’Connell joins Smart & Biggar

Tamara OConnells practice focusses on patent prosecution for Canadian companies in Canada and the US, and for associate firms around the world. She regularly responds to office actions and assists with patentability and validity opinions. Ms. OConnell also assists with opinions on Canadian copyright issues, and has experience in litigation support.
During her legal studies, Ms. OConnell served on the Senior Board of the University of Toronto Faculty of Law Review.
Ms. OConnell holds a B.Eng. (Electrical) from the University of Newfoundland and a J.D. from the University of Toronto.
