Litigation Associate

Gaertner Baron Professional Corporation is a corporate and commercial litigation boutique located in downtown Toronto. Our mandate is simple – to provide expert litigation representation to our corporate and individual clients.

We are seeking a full-time litigation associate with 3 + years of civil and commercial litigation experience to join our busy and collegial litigation team.

The position offers the opportunity for hands-on experience at all stages of litigation, as well as file carriage and direct client contact. This is a hybrid position.

We are looking are looking for an associate who meets the following criteria:

• Must be in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
• 3+ years of post call civil or commercial litigation experience
• Courtroom experience is required
• Has excellent writing skills
• Has the ability to research complex legal issues, prepare legal memoranda, draft facta and other motion and/or trial related materials
• Has the ability to provide strategic legal advice to clients and assume carriage of client files
