Our Toronto office is seeking to grow what is already one of the largest and strongest management-side employment and labour practices in the country. With over 70 lawyers nationally, we represent employers in both the private and public sectors, offering tailored and effective solutions for our clients’ industries, competitive environments, and corporate cultures. Our practice comprises the full spectrum of workplace issues, including employment litigation and compliance, labour board proceedings, labour arbitration, human rights, executive employment contracts, employee compensation and benefits, pay equity, privacy law, collective bargaining, human resources strategies, and workplace policies. We are currently seeking to add to the existing strength of our team by bringing in a mid-level associate with demonstrated experience in this space.

This presents an incredible opportunity to join a world-class group of professionals at an established Canadian law firm and international legal practice.   • 3 to 5 years of experience practicing employment and labour law in either a private practice or in-house setting;
  • strong academic standings;
  • exceptional client service, interpersonal and communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a willingness to take initiative; and
  • demonstrated business acumen and commercial understanding.
