The Firm’s Commercial Leasing group acts for some of Canada’s premiere commercial real estate, telecommunications and retail companies, advising on retail, office and industrial leasing issues on behalf of developers, landlords, property managers and tenants. Acting for some of Canada’s largest telecom service providers, they also advise on telecommunications access issues, including easements, leases, contractual licenses and rights of use. Located in midtown Toronto, the Firm is now looking to add a Commercial Leasing Associate.
The ideal candidate will have 0-2 years of experience in commercial leasing and commercial real estate, gained at a well-regarded law firm or corporation. You must have excellent drafting skills, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills. An entrepreneurial approach to the practice of law and the desire to build strong client relationships are essential. Experience in a more general commercial real estate practice would also be an asset, but is not a requirement.
