Baker McKenzie Announces New Partner, Christina Doria
January 5, 2021Baker McKenzie is pleased to announce that Christina Doria has been elected partner in the Firm’s Dispute Resolution Practice.
Christina assists corporations and states with complex commercial litigation as well as domestic and international arbitration matters. She advises clients in contractual disputes and in investor-state disputes in the energy, mining, infrastructure and transportation industries. She has appeared before all levels of Ontario court, the British Columbia Court of Appeal, the Manitoba Court of Queen’s Bench and before domestic and international arbitral tribunals. She has also acted on commercial arbitrations under UNCITRAL, AAA/ICDR, ICC, ADRIC, BCICAC (now VanIAC), ADR Chambers and CPR rules, as well as on investor-state arbitrations under ICSID, UNCITRAL and NAFTA.
She contributes to both the global and local arbitration bar having served on various ICDR Committees for YCAP, the ICDR, YIAG, and CIArb. She also frequently writes and speaks on cross-border litigation and arbitration matters.
