DMG Advocates LLP Welcomes Jennifer Dunlop

DMG Advocates is pleased to announce that Jennifer Dunlop has joined us as an associate.

Jennifer is a tri-jurisdiction qualified Barrister and Solicitor with a varied career in litigation.  Her expertise spans a diverse range of commercial and civil litigation, specializing in and navigating intricate high-value class action settlements, international advocacy, and advising on complex insurance and re-insurance policy coverage.  She has a broad range of expertise in managing complex litigation cases, particularly in the product liability and professional negligence fields.  Jennifer has a wealth of experience in crafting legal strategies that yield successful outcomes for her clients.

Jennifer initially began her legal studies at Queen’s University in Belfast, Northern Ireland where she was awarded her Bachelor of Laws degree (LL. B) with Honors.  She then went on to study the Legal Practice course at the University of Nottingham in England (UK).  Thereafter, she trained and practiced at a well-known defence litigation firm in the City of London, England for a number of years before moving to Canada.

Jennifer worked in the litigation group of a leading national law firm when she moved to Toronto in 2016.  She undertook her NCA exams and was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2021.

Prior to her legal career, Jennifer worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) in both Northern Ireland and in England.  It was at PwC where Jennifer honed her skills in restructuring and insolvency in the areas of both personal and corporate insolvency.  She managed insolvent companies, negotiated creditor claims and navigated complex financial landscapes.
