Loopstra Nixon welcomes Nicole Cianci as an Associate
January 29, 2024Nicole Cianci is an associate of the Estate Litigation practice group at Loopstra Nixon LLP. She practices exclusively in the areas of wills, estates, trusts, powers of attorney, guardianship, and capacity related litigation.
Prior to joining Loopstra Nixon, Nicole practiced estate litigation at a prominent Toronto boutique firm where she advocated on behalf of clients on a broad range of estate litigation matters, including will challenges, will and trust interpretation, contentious passings of accounts, appointment and removal of trustees and guardians, guardianship applications, and power of attorney disputes.
Nicole is passionate about assisting others plan for their future. Nicole’s experience includes drafting a variety of trust, estate, and tax planning documents as well as assisting on domestic and cross-border corporate transactions. As a certified family mediator, Nicole takes a compassionate and empathetic approach to her practice, with a commitment to establishing an unassailable client relationship.
Nicole has authored various blog posts, articles and has hosted podcasts on current issues related to trusts and estate law. Nicole’s article, “Jackson v. Rosenberg: A “Cautionary Tale” of Judicial Confusion Over Joint Tenancy and The Right of Survivorship Post Pecore” was recently published in Taxes & Wealth Management, December 2023 Issue 16-4.
Nicole is currently pursuing her Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation from STEP Canada.
