Gilbert’s LLP Welcomes Sacha Poirier-Feraud
October 30, 2024Gilbert’s LLP is thrilled to announce that Sacha Poirier-Feraud has joined the firm as an associate.
Before joining Gilbert’s, Sacha received a combined honours degree in Biology and Contemporary Philosophy at the University of Kings College and Dalhousie University in Halifax. During his undergraduate studies, Sacha studied at the intersection of life sciences and philosophy culminating in a research thesis considering the ethical and regulatory implications of increasingly accessible and effective genetic modification technologies.
At the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, Sacha honed his advocacy and critical thinking skills taking a particular interest in IP litigation. Sacha held a summer fellowship with the International Human Rights Program working as a legal intern at Amnesty International Canada. Sacha also spent one semester abroad at an LLM program in Lyon where he specialized in private international law and comparative IP law.
Since joining Gilbert’s, Sacha has focused on building a diverse litigation practice driven by creative problem solving and keen advocacy.
