Paliare Roland Welcomes Associate Beatrice Rutayisire
September 22, 2025Paliare Roland is pleased to announce that Beatrice Rutayisire has joined the firm as an associate. After summering with Paliare Roland, Beatrice clerked for the Honourable Chief Justice Tulloch, Justice Sossin, and Justice Madsen at the Court of Appeal for Ontario.
As a law student at the McGill University Faculty of Law, Beatrice worked on workplace equity and governance related matters as a research assistant for the federal Employment Equity Act Review Task Force, and as a legal intern for the human resources branch of an international organization. She also served as a student clinician for the Mobile Legal Clinic in Montréal, supported anti-discrimination litigation at the Centre for Research Action on Race Relations, and led national outreach and communications as Director of Communications for the Black Law Students’ Association of Canada.
Prior to law school, Beatrice earned a Joint Honours Bachelor of Social Sciences in Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Ottawa and a paralegal diploma at Seneca Polytechnic. Beatrice has also worked as an HR professional and in the Ontario court system in a bilingual capacity.
Beatrice is building a practice in union-side labour law.
