Lisa Munro of Lerners receives 2015 Women Worth Watching Award

November 24, 2014

Congratulations to Lisa Munro on being recognized as one of Diversity Journal’s Women Worth Watching in 2015.

Nominated by their employers for their passion, their potential, and their positive influence both inside and outside the workplace, the 2015 Women Worth Watching winners represent corporations, government agencies, and nonprofits from across North America and Europe.

Munro has played a critical role at Lerners, creating a work environment that not only fosters retention but also encourages loyalty. As a member of the Executive Committee, her contributions on matters such as strategic acquisitions, succession, and service diversification have had a great positive affect on Lerners.

One of Munro’s greatest legacies will be the large number of high-performing women who have remained in the practice as a direct result of her influence. While she has been on the Executive Committee, the number of female partners has more than doubled. Mentoring the next generation of female lawyers, Munro encourages her colleagues to develop their skills and take full control of their careers.
