Umair Abdul Qadir Joins Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP Toronto Office
October 23, 2013Umair’s practice encompasses all aspects of pensions and benefits law and executive compensation. He advises employers and pension plan administrators with regards to plan administration, design, governance, investment and taxation. He also advises on the regulatory aspects of plan mergers and plan wind-ups and on the pension and employee benefit aspects of corporate transactions.
Umair first joined Blakes as a summer law student in 2011 and subsequently articled with the Firm. At law school, Umair graduated at the top 10 per cent of his class and received Osgoode Hall’s 2012 Dean’s Gold Key award.
