Aryo Shalviri Joins Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP Toronto Office
October 22, 2013Aryo’s practice includes commercial reorganizations, distressed acquisitions, debt collection and security enforcement. He first joined Blakes as a summer law student in 2010 and subsequently articled with the Firm.
Aryo obtained his J.D. at the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University, where he was a member of the Dean’s List and earned honours standing throughout all three years. During his legal studies, Aryo was awarded the Alistair Fraser Scholarship, the 2010 Class of 1958 Prize for achieving first-place standing in criminal law, the 2011 Alistair Fraser Award for Highest Standing, the 2012 Law Foundation of Nova Scotia scholarship and the Honourable W.A. Henry Prize for highest standing in constitutional law classes. He also obtained the 2011 Schulich Scholarship in Law.
Prior to attending law school, Aryo obtained a bachelor of arts at Simon Fraser University and worked as a practicum student for a law firm in British Columbia.
