Caitlin Russell Joins Cassels Brock
September 26, 2013Caitlin Russell is an associate in the Litigation Group at Cassels Brock in Toronto. Prior to joining Cassels Brock as an associate, she was both a summer and articling student at the firm. During her articles Caitlin was involved in a wide variety of litigation matters and gained experience drafting pleadings, factums and legal memoranda, conducting legal research, and assisting with advising clients. Caitlin also assisted with the update to the Watson & McGowan Annual Survey of Recent Developments in Civil Procedure."
Caitlin graduated in 2012 with a J.D. from Queens University Faculty of Law. At law school, Caitlin was the recipient of the Queen’s Law Camaraderie Award for her work with the Women and Law group, and the M.A. Murray Award for her contributions to athletics. Caitlin also volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada and the Family Law Project where she assisted unrepresented litigants in Family Court.
Prior to attending law school, Caitlin obtained an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Guelph where she graduated with distinction and stood on the Deans Honour List. While at Guelph, she worked as a teaching assistant in the College of Management and Economics.
