December 15, 2014

WeirFoulds LLP congratulates executive partner Lisa Borsook for receiving a Women’s Executive Network’s (WXN) 2014 Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Award in the RBC Champions Category. These awards celebrate and highlight the professional achievements of women across the country in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors. Our firm and clients have long benefited from Lisa’s exceptional skills as an accomplished lawyer, a committed role model and a passionate contributor to her community. A leading authority in property development, commercial leasing and infrastructure, Lisa represents local, national and international clients in her practice areas.

As an RBC Champion, Lisa is recognized as a dedicated mentor, role model and agent of change to advance women in the Canadian workplace. Lisa has always been a strong advocate for women in the legal profession, and has used her unique position as one of Canada’s first female law-firm managing partners to promote the advancement of women lawyers. The award also recognizes Lisa for her long-standing involvement in a number of charities, both personally and with the firm, including the Women’s Brain Health Initiative, where she currently serves on the board.

In 2013, Lisa was honoured in the KPMG Professionals Category for her achievements as managing partner and her leadership vision.
