McLeish Orlando welcomes Joe Gaynor as an Associate

Joe started at McLeish Orlando as a summer student in 2015. After law school he returned to article with the firm. He was called to the bar in 2018 and joined the firm as a lawyer in the same year. He received his law degree from Western University. Prior to law school, Joe received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Acadia University.

Joe loves all aspects of hockey. Growing up he played for the Plymouth Whalers in the Ontario Hockey League. He wanted a university education and to play hockey at the same time. During his four-years in Nova Scotia at Acadia he played center for the varsity team.

Throughout University, Joe worked for Partners in Employment as an employment facilitator, helping Ontario Works and Ontario Disability Support individuals find gainful employment. The skills Joe developed working there have proved to be particularly beneficial to his practice at McLeish Orlando.

Joe has always wanted to be a lawyer and work in a team environment where the aim of the firm was to help people. Joe’s unique skill set, from both on the ice and his time working at Partners in Employment, help him achieve fair compensation from insurance companies for clients.
