Robichaud’s welcomes Minu Walia as Associate Counsel
October 25, 2018Minu completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Canadian Studies and graduated with distinction. During her time at McGill University, Minu interned at a grass-roots NGO in New Delhi, India, for which she was awarded the Carol and Lloyd Darlington Arts Internship. Minu was a senior editor for the McGill International Review journal and acted as Chair for committees in Model United Nations conferences held at McGill University. She went on to attend the University of Windsor Faculty of Law, graduating in 2017 with her Juris Doctor. Minu completed her articles at a litigation boutique in Toronto.
During her time at Windsor, Minu volunteered with Windsor’s Legal Aid Clinic. In her second year of law school, Minu competed in Windsor’s Zuber Moot where her passion for criminal law and the Charterwas invigorated. That summer, she worked for a sole practitioner in criminal defence in Toronto. Minu continued to develop her keen interest in criminal law and litigation by participating in the Gale Cup Moot.
