Millie is an associate practising in the tax group at Wildeboer Dellelce LLP. Her practice involves domestic and cross-border transactional tax structuring for individual and corporate clients.
Millie has also worked on tax controversy and litigation matters before the Tax Court of Canada, Federal Court, Federal Court of Appeal, BC Provincial Court and Ontario’s Superior Court. Her experience includes providing Canadian tax and transfer pricing controversy services involving domestic and cross-border audit defence matters; competent authority requests under the Mutual Agreement Procedure (“MAP”); and advanced pricing arrangements (“APAs”).
Millie’s previous international experience includes working on a specialized tax risk assessment project connected to the Panama Papers. She has previously attended the annual forum for the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (“OECD”) in Paris as a non-profit delegate.
Millie has previously provided transfer pricing advisory services ranging from planning to documentation in a wide arena of industries, including mining, retail, food distribution, software and data analytics, pharmaceuticals, financial services, insurance and banking.
Prior to joining Wildeboer Dellelce, Millie practised with the tax group at EY Law LLP in Toronto and articled with a tax litigation firm in BC. While obtaining her law degree, Millie summered and continued to work for a year in-house under corporate counsel at a global energy management firm. Prior to attending law school, Millie also provided various advisory services to the management of an engineering consulting firm operating principally in the oil and gas and power division space.
