Brittany Shamess Joins Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP Toronto Office
September 26, 2016Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP is pleased to welcome Brittany Shamess to the Litigation Group.
Brittany completed her J.D. at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. She spent a semester studying abroad in Hong Kong during her last year of law school. She holds an M.A. in political science from the University of Victoria and a B.A. from Western University, where she graduated with distinction.
While at law school, Brittany worked as a research assistant for professors Markus Dubber and Martha Shaffer. She also served as a senior editor for the Critical Analysis of Law journal and as an executive member for Artists’ Legal Advice Services. Brittany has previously worked on privacy law compliance projects as a research assistant in Victoria and has also worked as a journalism intern in India.
