Aly Somani is an associate in the Business Law Group at Cassels Brock in Toronto. Before joining Cassels Brock as an associate, Aly was an articling student at the firm. During this time, he was involved with various matters within the Business Law, Securities, and Advocacy practice groups.
Alys experience includes assisting with asset and share purchase transactions, venture financing and private equity, as well as drafting a variety of corporate and commercial documents and conducting legal research.
Aly attended law school at the University of Windsor where he served as a caseworker at Community Legal Aid, a Project Manager for Pro Bono Students Canada and was a mentor in the Peer Mentorship Program.
