Smart & Biggar is pleased to announce that Ekaterina Tsimberis has become a Partner of the firm.

Ekaterina Tsimberis calls on over a decade of experience to assist clients faced with litigation in all areas of intellectual property law. She works with small and medium enterprises, as well as multinational corporations operating in Canada, the United States and Europe. She has worked with organizations representing a wide variety of industries, including food, apparel, shoe, fragrance, beauty products, and hockey equipment. Ekaterina is the only Canadian to be recognized by Euromoney LMG Americas Women in Business Law Awards as a Rising Star in Intellectual Property in 2015. She has also been recognized in the 2014 edition of Expert Guides: Women in Business law as a top female legal practitioner in the area of trademarks, and in Euromoney’s Expert Guides: Guide to the World’s Leading Trademark Law Practitioners 2014.
