Osler announces new partner James R. Brown

Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP is pleased to announce that James R. Brown has become a partner of the firm.

In his practice, James advises on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and securities, mining and general corporate matters. He has acted for underwriters and issuers in public offerings, including shelf, short form and “bought deal” financings, global private placements and transactions involving inter-listed companies, including the ASX in Australia. James also provides ongoing advice to public and private corporations in a wide variety of industries on regulatory compliance matters, corporate governance and continuous disclosure obligations, as well as guidance to TSX and TSXV listed issuers on securities law compliance, including mineral project disclosure under National Instrument 43-101. James practises in Osler’s Toronto office.
