In 2020, Reakash graduated from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law cum laude. During law school, she was placed third nationally as a member of the Jessup Moot team and worked with Senator Kim Pate to create the award-winning podcast Appointed addressing the legal and social obstacles facing criminalized and marginalized people. In 2020, Reakash was listed as a “Trailblazer” by Chatelaine Magazine.
