We are proud to announce that Shyama Talukdar has been admitted to the partnership.
Shyama Talukdar is a committed litigator and advocate with a focus on union-side labour, employment, human rights, and administrative law. Shyama is passionate about social justice and workers’ rights. Shyama has previously worked with the Downtown Legal Services Clinic at the University of Toronto and the Advocates for Injured Workers Clinic. She has appeared before the Ontario Court of Appeal, Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court, Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, Ontario Labour Relations Board, Grievance Settlement Board, as well as private labour arbitrations.
Prior to joining Paliare Roland in 2022, Shyama worked at a global firm as a labour and employment associate, and began her career at a leading labour and employment law boutique.
