Workplace Lawyer

Do the work that shapes workplaces

Workplace law sits at the intersection of business, people, and risk. The advice we give affects how organizations operate, how leaders make decisions, and how workplace conflicts are resolved. If you want a practice that is dynamic, strategic, and deeply relevant, this is the role for you.

We are Canada’s only national boutique workplace law firm. With offices across Canada we deliver strategic advice, practical solutions and immediate crisis management, locally and nationally. We have depth of experience across the country that is unmatched.

While we have recently added to our ranks in Vancouver, we still need a 3–7 year call who wants to continue to build a career in this field, with a particular focus on labour board, labour arbitration
and collective bargaining work. You will receive training, experience and opportunities that allow you to develop a vibrant practice in this area.

This is not a back-room research role. You will be trusted with running files, working directly with clients, providing strategic advice, appearing before labour boards and arbitrators, and helping
employers navigate challenging situations. You will work closely with senior lawyers who are invested in mentorship and in helping associates become lifelong partners with the firm.

We are looking for a lawyer who is sharp, practical, and curious about how workplaces actually function. Strong writing and advocacy skills matter. So does judgment. And shuffleboard skills. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who wants to build expertise and grow a longterm practice in workplace law.

This role is ideal for a lawyer who wants to take on increasing responsibility and grow their practice within a supportive boutique environment. Our size allows for mentorship, direct client exposure, and the opportunity to have an impact on our clients and our firm culture.

We have guaranteed bonus entitlement after 1450 billed hours and a genuine pathway to partnership. Salary range is $142,500 to $223,000 depending on year of call.
