Thornton Grout Finnigan LLP is pleased to welcome Stephanie Cheung to the team.

Stephanie is an associate in the firm’s commercial litigation practice group and maintains a broad practice including contractual and commercial disputes, shareholder disputes, property disputes, estates, corporate and construction litigation.

Stephanie previously practiced at an insurance defence boutique, where she gained extensive experience handling a variety of litigation matters and developed a strong foundation in advocacy, risk assessment, and dispute resolution. She also gained experience at a boutique commercial litigation firm, where she expanded her practice to encompass a wide range of commercial disputes, including contractual, shareholder, business, and other complex civil litigation matters.

Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, a background that has equipped her with strong analytical and problem-solving skills that complement her legal practice. Her thoughtful and results-oriented approach enables her to effectively guide clients through challenging legal issues while remaining focused on achieving practical and efficient outcomes.
