Smart & Biggar is proud to announce the appointment of Brittany Hellier-Grant as Senior Trademark Agent.

William’s practice focuses on trademark and copyright protection, with an emphasis on enforcement and anti-counterfeiting. He oversees intellectual property litigation, brand enforcement and the investigation and resolution of counterfeiting and infringement matters, while also advising on clearance, prosecution, trademark oppositions, section 45 non-use cancellations, availability opinions and licensing, helping clients safeguard their intellectual property and maintain the strength of their brands in both Canada and global markets. He also advises on Québec French language issues.
