HHR is pleased to welcome back David Cruz

David joins Henein Hutchison Robitaille LLP as an associate

David Cruz is a civil litigation associate at Henein Hutchison Robitaille LLP. HHR is pleased to welcome David back to the firm after completing his articles with us.

David maintains a broad practice, including commercial litigation, trusts and estates litigation, and tort litigation. During his articles at HHR, he worked on civil litigation matters and workplace investigations.

David earned his J.D. from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University, graduating on the Dean’s List and in the top 10% of his class. He won the national award for Best Closing Argument at the Sopinka Cup Trial Competition and the award for Best Overall Advocate at the McKelvey Cup Trial Competition. Through the Dalhousie Legal Aid Service, he also represented clients before courts and administrative tribunals.

Before pursuing a career in law, David worked as a professional jazz guitarist. He holds a Master of Music from McGill University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music from York University.
