BLG Congratulates New Partner Michael D. Grodinsky

Micheal’s practice encompasses virtually all aspects of labour, employment, human rights and privacy law. Counselling small, medium and large-size employers on issues relating to effective human resources management, he has been recognized for his sound and practical advice and his strategic guidance. He is frequently called upon to advise and represent clients with respect to various workplace matters, including hirings, dismissals, disciplinary measures, employment agreements, workplace policies, workplace investigations, electronic communications and social media issues, discrimination claims, harassment claims, restrictive covenants and confidentiality agreements, as well as workplace restructurings, language issues and access to information and privacy law issues.
In addition, Michael provides aboriginal businesses and Band Councils with counsel and representation for labour relations issues affecting their workforces. He has advised and represented clients against labour and employment-related claims arising in the context of bankruptcy or insolvency proceedings, as well as labour and employment-related matters arising in the context of commercial transactions.
